YAYAYAYAY! I love this new website almost as much as I love Sweeney Todd right about now!!! So I sat and watched the second act tonight. I laughed, I cried, I got the chills, we have a pretty amazing show in our hands and boy am I proud to be a part of it. I honestly cannot wait to see and hear the audience’s reaction. Speaking of audience, we need one!! Please tell all your friends, family, teachers, anyone you ever met in your entire life. The show is looking amazing, we will be adding tech this weekend, and (I think) we have 10 piece orchestra (crazy I know), so all thats left is an audience. Really in the end after all the hard work, they are the ones we want to walk out thinking it was worth their money. We have a large group of alumni coming, so lets show them what we are made of! I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work these past five weeks, to the cast, to Larry and Jay, Frannie and Chris, the entire board, and everyone who had anything to do with this show. We are almost there, get excitedddddd!! I posted some pics, enjoy them! I love you all and I am so happy and proud to be the president of this club.

To any of the Mimes who would like to help out next weekend, we will have plenty for you to do (tickets, bake sale, etc.) We would love for as many people to be involved, let me know!!

Umm…yeah so this is a super SWEET site! Thanks so much, John, for making us look gooooood. Rachel is right…we do look legit!
But, can we talk about Sweeney for a second? Wow! Everyone on campus needs to come…Devlin makes me cry on stage, even when some of us are supposed to be dead?!?! This cast is amaazing. It isn’t just in talent, which is obvi pretty freaking SWEEEEET, but everyone’s dedication. I mean I know everyone needs tech hours, but most people have just gone above and beyond. I don’t think we could find a sexier Lovett table or pre-dripped stairs….helllzzz no!
Besides from the cast, did anyone realize that Larry is one of the best things that ever happened to the Mimes? I hope Gina puts that pic up of him from today hehehe, but hello! he’s from [title of show]. And if any of you out there haven’t checked it out…do! It’s such a theater geek’s dream.
Oh and the board + Jay aren’t too bad, either.
Well, it might be from a lack of sleep from working on the show and midterms, but I’m kinda liking everyone right now…don’t judge Chris Bennett! I don’t know why I feel like he would. Anyway, ‘Night!

Wow - who would’ve thought that all of the things we talked about in our production meeting would actually start to come to fruition?!?! We have a WEBSITE! YAY!

John is amazing for doing all of this, and it looks great - we’re gearing up for Sweeney right now, and I’m about 3/4 dead with publicity, because clearly, the program didn’t save correctly, and now Kyle’s face looks all distorted and weird (in his headshot, not in life). I’m sure it will get figured out at some point….or not.

Well, I just wanted to write a post because Gina told us we should. There I go, being a good board member!
